Costa Rica
My stay there was a true cultural immersion experience in a homestay hosted by a local farming family. Conditions in these remote places are basic but comfortable. Bed linen is provided, but you will need to bring your own towel and personal cleaning supplies. I shared the room with 4 other volunteers. The bathrooms are shared by all the volunteers and have flushing toilets and cold water showers. The weater here is really cool tropical Due to this environment, I could also perceive the presence of a variety of critters (insects, spiders, etc.).
About the program.
